This treble clef illustration was a commissioned piece, to make a poster for a private music studio in Paris. The walls of the music studio are painted in dark blue, so I chose this blue to add a bright focal point that doesn’t clash with the colour scheme.
The client had seen other artwork of mine where I had used a simple U shape in different forms to make up drawings and patterns. She asked me to use the U shapes as the basis for an artistic rendition of the treble clef for her music studio, which was undergoing a renovation.
